[LONDON] Pause & Reflect - Nature Workshop in Wimbledon Common

“Our times are urgent. Let’s slow down.” Bayo Akomolafe

Are you finding yourself holding big questions but never having the time or space to really ponder them?

We live in times of big questions and difficult decisions to make, yet we rarely have the time to pause and reflect and find answers that guide us forward.

This nature workshop is for you if you are walking with big questions. Together with a small group of like-minded people you will learn how to connect to nature’s wisdom to help you tune into your inner wisdom to find your path forward.

Some of the questions past participants walked with:

  • What is most important to me at this stage in my life?

  • How can I invite more joy or balance into my life or work?

  • How can I align my career path with what really matters to me?

  • How do I stay sane in a world that never stops?

Together we will find fresh perspectives, inspiration and meaningful connections to resource us and build resilience.

What to expect

  • A small group experience with those who wish to listen to & learn from the rhythms of nature

  • Gain understanding of your Human Design to harness your unique decision-making strategy

  • Teachings and inspirations from the Eco-Centric Wheel, a seasonal, nature-based approach to human development

  • Time alone with nature to be curious about the animating force of the natural world and our relationship with it

  • Exploring the way of council, the ancient community practice of sitting in circle of sharing and listening from the heart

What is Human Design?

Human Design is a framework that combines ancient wisdom traditions such as astrology, I Ching and the chakra system. Human Design helps you understand your unique decision-making strategy, the gifts you bring to others and groups, and how you interact with people and the world around you.

During the workshop you will receive a copy of your own Human Design report to start experimenting with it.

What is the Eco-Centric Wheel of Human Development?

The Eco-Centric Wheel is a framework that maps stages of human development to the seasonal cycles of natural life, merging teachings from eco-psychology and depth psychology with indigenous and ancient wisdom. It invites us to reconnect to life's mysteries and co-create our paths in relationship with the more-than-human world.

[DUBLIN] Learning from the Rhythms of Nature: Practices to Ground & Connect

Half-Day Outdoor Workshop in Hidden Location in Phoenix Park: Nature-Based Practices to Ground and Connect

Do you feel called to spend more time in the natural world, but day-to-day life just gets in the way?

Most of us spend the majority of our time in our head: organising, planning, always thinking one step ahead. We are all caught up in being the responsible adult.

When was the last time you had time to be curious?

Time to wonder and wander.

Time to connect with what’s alive within you and all around you.

Time to remember your love for the world.

Join us for a half-day workshop in nature, where we learn to (re)connect with nature as a guide and teacher to bring more wonder, awe and joy into our lives.

We will come together beneath the sky, upon the land, amongst the trees and explore with curiosity how we can deepen our connections with this land, our hearts and our bodies.  We will spend time alone and with each other learning how to live in rhythm and reverence to the land and this life.

What to expect

  • A small group experience with those who wish to listen to & learn from the rhythms of nature

What you will take away

  • Practices to empower you to move consciously through this world

  • A renewed sense of connectedness and aliveness

  • Inspiration to work with nature as your teacher in your day-to-day life

We are so looking forward to being with you among the trees.

[STOCKSTADT/FRANKFURT] Von Bäumen Lernen - Die Natur als weiser Ratgeber

Zeit zum Inne halten.

Zeit zum Zuhören.

Zeit für neue Perspektiven.

“Die Natur hat keine Eile. Und doch ist alles vollbracht.” Lao Tzu

[Dublin] Exploring the Art of Emergence - Half-Day Nature Workshop in Phoenix Park

[Dublin] Exploring the Art of Emergence - Half-Day Nature Workshop in Phoenix Park

"And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom." - Anais Nin

As we cross over the threshold of Imbolc (translates as "in the belly"), as winter begins to loosen its grip and the earth begins to stir we will come together to explore what is stirring within us. As the Cailleach's reign on the land weakens and Brigid returns, we will slow down, connect to the rhythm of our animal bodies with embodiment practice, and spend time alone in the natural world to listen to what is calling to emerge.

Do you feel a quickening within you?

Are you feeling ready to begin to be roused from the winter dreaming to see what wishes to be manifested?

What can you do to revive and nourish your body and soul as you tend to the seeds within you?

What seeds that you have been tending or forgetting are beginning to germinate or not, knowing not every seed sends roots)?

Slowly, slowly we will explore this gentle nudge towards emergence and desire, knowing that these seeds that are beginning to emerge are still fragile, tender and vulnerable. Let us tap into the sense of awe and wonder that this potential brings. Let us come together share our emergent stories and sew ourselves into relationship with the beauty and power of the lands way of growing, recovering, resting and dying all for continued life.

What to expect

  • A small group experience with those who wish to listen to the rhythms of nature

  • Teachings and inspirations from the eco-centric wheel, a seasonal, nature-based approach to human development

  • Guidance through embodiment practices

  • Time alone in the natural world to be curious about the animating force of the natural world and our relationship with it

  • Exploring the way of council, the ancient community practice of sitting in circle of sharing and listening from the heart

[Online] Exploring the Art of Wintering - Full Day Retreat

“All beginnings start in the darkness, in the fecund earth, the pulsing womb. It is not spring where life suddenly appears out of nowhere, but now in these inward months.”

Brigit Anna McNeil

What is your relationship with the darker months, the darker times of your life?

In this full-day online event, we will explore our relationship with the dark using the natural world as our mirror. We will listen deeply and connect with our body, each other and the land, exploring how this winter story can teach us about our own human journey.Let us come together and learn how we can move to the rhythms of the natural world once again.

This is an online adaptation of our in-person event to allow more people to experience the transformative power of deep nature connection. You can join from anywhere in the world - please note the retreat takes place during daytime hours in GMT timezone.

What to expect:

Our online day together will begin with a virtual council, where we will share teachings from the eco-centric wheel on the season of winter and have guidance on how to move through the world with embodied awareness.

Following the online council you will be invited to walk on the land for up to 3 hours before we meet again to reflect, share and tell our stories.

Despite what the over culture may tell us, we don't have to start the new year with a bang announcing to the world our plans for the year ahead.

Let yourself take time to compost what no longer serves, dream, alchemize and lean into the mystery of the dark.

“This season of winter, for me, is always a time to think about change and transformation, about all the ways in which we might allow the long, cold dark to strip us down to the bones of who we are. Every year, letting winter strip us bare; letting the final leaves that we’re clinging onto fall. Letting it all fall, and seeing what still holds us upright. And from that point of strength, choosing the ways in which we might bend.”

Sharon Blackie

Timings for the day - all times in GMT:

10 am - 12 pm Opening Circle

12 pm - 5 pm Time Alone in Nature

5 pm - 7 pm Story Council and Closing Circle

Exploring the Art of Wintering Half-Day Workshop in Phoenix Park

What is your relationship with the darker months, the darker times of your life?

In this half-day workshop, we will explore our relationship with the dark using the natural world as our mirror. We will listen deeply and connect with our body, each other and the land, exploring how this winter story can teach us about our own human journey.

Through embodiment practices, perspectives from the eco-centric wheel, reflection with each other and alone with nature, we will find nourishment and build resilience. Let us expand our heart’s capacity for these times.

Our lives need each season to inform us. Let us leave space for what winter brings, finding the beauty in the darkness, letting go of what needs composting, knowing that the wheel keeps turning and the light will return.
