Hi, I am Claudia, a Positive Psychologist and Career Coach working with clients at big or small crossroads.
I’ve been coaching mid-career professionals full-time for six years, with a strong academic background in Positive and Climate Psychology, and a previous career in corporate tech. Our work together will be both psychologically grounded and rooted in real-world experience.
Previous clients describe my coaching style as flexible, compassionate and with a good dose of humour. I can be gentle and reflective when you need space, or push you into action when you’re ready. We will combine visionary thinking with tactical clarity, helping you navigate career and bigger life transitions with confidence, resilience and your present and future wellbeing in mind.
My work is inspired both by nature and science, and I build on the wisdom of our ancestors - both human and from the more-than-human world.

Every coaching session starts with you bringing a topic, a question, a goal or a decision you want to work towards. During the session I will facilitate your exploration of the topic, encouraging you to go inwards, inquiring, unblocking, understanding and moving forward. I guide you through the process by asking clarifying, challenging or curious questions so that you can create the path forward that sits right with who you are. You will go away energised, motivated and knowing what your next steps are.

Positive Psychology is the science of happiness and flourishing. It investigates what makes us excel at some tasks and how we can learn to bring that into other areas of our lives. Coaching is not therapy or counselling, but both share some techniques for inquiry and reflection. I will for example ask you a bunch of questions to get your thinking and consider new perspectives. While therapy usually deals with trauma and healing, often exploring events in the past to bring acceptance and closure, coaching looks forward into the future. In coaching, we hold a firm focus on the goal you set in the beginning of your journey. We might visit the past briefly to understand where a blocker or behavioural pattern originates, but only to learn how you can work with that going forward to help you thrive and flourish. With an action-oriented approach, clients tend to leave a coaching session energised, optimistic and with more clarity.

I teach you a variety of practical tools in our sessions, including cognitive-behavioural frameworks that help you uncover how your thinking and feeling are connected to create positive behavioural change that facilitates personal and professional growth. Many neurodivergent clients benefit from more experiential exercises, where we might utilise movement (also great for those of us sitting in front of the laptop all day!), sketching, LEGO Serious Play, or metaphors to help you in the coaching process.
