A 6-week small group learning experience to get you from not knowing where to start to defining your climate career path.

This course is designed to support the growing number of people globally who are eager to transition into a climate-focused career with real impact. This career transition can feel daunting, uncertain and… well it can feel BIG. This course is your ticket to get the support you need to make this transition with confidence.

Who is this for?

You are looking for clarity on how to transition into a climate career.

You finally want to create a career that aligns with your values and strengths.

You need to build the confidence to step into a purpose-led career that makes a real difference.

What will you learn?

Discover your unique strengths for climate good.

Create a climate career vision that is motivating, exciting and achievable.

Find your climate sweet spot at the intersection of what you are good at, what brings you joy and what needs doing in the world.

Build a toolkit to harness climate emotions to create and sustain positive impact in your career.

Bonus: Do all of that with your tribe of like-minded people who are on the same journey as you. 🫶

Week 1: Envision your positive future

Solving climate change is also solving our lack of imagination. Start your climate career journey by drawing up your personal vision of a future worth living. To get you started, you are invited to a guided visualisation, drawing the landscape of your future.

Week 2: Discover your strengths

You don’t need to be a climate scientist to create a climate career. Working on climate starts with knowing your strengths and how they inform your actions, your thinking and how you feel about things. Discover your unique strengths in a transformative workshop together with your fellow learners.

Week 3: Find your climate sweetspot

Identify your climate career sweetspot at the intersection of what you are good at, what brings you joy and what needs doing. Understand the climate industry landscape in an eye-opening workshop with your fellow learners.

Week 4: Job Seeker / Entrepreneur Track

Job Seekers: Learn about a proven framework to interview with your strengths, building your confidence to let you shine on your CV, in your cover letters and job interviews.

Entrepreneurs: Define your offerings, reflect on how to bring this into the world, and confidently embrace networking.

Week 5: Befriend your climate emotions

The secret to creating and sustaining a climate career lies in understanding and working with the often conflicting range of climate emotions. Build an evidence-based toolkit to harness climate anxiety for positive impact.

Week 6: Your climate career action plan

In the final week you will bring everything you have learned together and build your personal climate career action plan, balancing professional and personal goals. Meet your fellow learners for an inspiring workshop on goal setting and celebrating your graduation.

Meet your facilitator

Hi, I am Claudia, your guide on this exciting journey to a meaningful climate-impact career. I am a Positive Psychologist supporting people, teams and organisations who work on climate and social justice solutions. I am a bit of an expert when it comes to helping people create meaningful careers. Since 2020 I have helped over 750 people create more meaningful careers at all stages in their lives.

And you can now work with me too!

Questions about the course? I invite you for a virtual coffee (or tea!) chat.

One of the things I love most about the global climate community is the openness to have a personal chat to support each other on that journey. If you are on the fence for this course or just want to have a chat to get to know me and my path into climate, come join me for a virtual chat!

So, how much?

Aligned with SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, I am on a mission to make this programme accessible to people from all walks of life, at all stages of their careers and from all parts of the world.

This course is priced to be accessible for most people in the global north and affluent countries.

Course fee: 349 Euro

I am offering a small number of scholarship seats at a lower rate for those in the global south and less affluent individuals.

If this is you, please apply for a scholarship here. Scholarship applications are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Frequently asked questions

  • Definitely not! To solve the wicked problem of climate change, we need all hands on deck. Everyone has unique strengths and skills that are needed. Find Your Climate Career is designed to help you identify your strengths and to find your sweetspot to work on climate.

  • Absolutely, yes! This is what this space is for: to get you from now knowing where to start to creating your personal roadmap to get you into a climate-focused career.

  • That totally depends on you and where you are at in this journey. Generally speaking, this course is designed to help you create a vision and a pathway to get there. You will be solely responsible to put that into action.

  • You are not alone. Many people hope to find meaning when they transition into climate, but still find something is missing after their transition (you might like a recent blog post I wrote on the topic). This course will help you identify what type of work gives you fulfilment and how that connects back to your strengths and values in the lifestage you are in right now.

  • The minimum time commitment is around 2-3 hours per week for your personal reflections, thinking and planning. Plus 90 minutes for the live workshops throughout the course. Some people also enjoy connecting with other learners on the course (this is optional) for networking, having a learning buddy or just having virtual coffee chats.

This course is not for you, if:

  • You are looking for someone to do the work for you

  • You don’t have at least 2-3 hours every week for reflection and thinking time plus 90 minutes every week for live workshops

  • You are looking for 1:1 personal support (if you prefer that, feel free to contact me for 1:1 coaching)

  • You want a guarantee that you will have a climate job at the end of the programme. Ethical coaching works on the premise that you are solely responsible for creating and implementing your own goals, decisions, actions and results inspired by the coaching programme. It is up to you to put the learning into practice and work towards making your goal a reality.
