Frequently asked questions

  • Definitely not! To solve the wicked problem of climate change, we need all hands on deck. Everyone has unique strengths and skills that are needed. Find Your Climate Career is designed to help you identify your strengths and to find your sweetspot to work on climate.

  • Absolutely, yes! This is what this space is for: to get you from now knowing where to start to creating your personal roadmap to get you into a climate-focused career.

  • That totally depends on you and where you are at in this journey. Generally speaking, this course is designed to help you create a vision and a pathway to get there. You will be solely responsible to put that into action.

  • You are not alone. Many people hope to find meaning when they transition into climate, but still find something is missing after their transition (you might like a recent blog post I wrote on the topic). This course will help you identify what type of work gives you fulfilment and how that connects back to your strengths and values in the lifestage you are in right now.

  • The minimum time commitment is around 2-3 hours per week for your personal reflections, thinking and planning. Plus 90 minutes for the live workshops throughout the course. Some people also enjoy connecting with other learners on the course (this is optional) for networking, having a learning buddy or just having virtual coffee chats.

This course is not for you, if:

  • You are looking for someone to do the work for you

  • You don’t have at least 2-3 hours every week for reflection and thinking time plus 60 minutes every week for live workshops

  • You are looking for 1:1 personal support (if you prefer that, feel free to contact me for 1:1 coaching)

  • You want a guarantee that you will have a climate job at the end of the programme. Ethical coaching works on the premise that you are solely responsible for creating and implementing your own goals, decisions, actions and results inspired by the coaching programme. It is up to you to put the learning into practice and work towards making your goal a reality.

What previous Changemakers are saying

“Working in a group and being able to see different views on the same topics, other people's challenges and ideas really helped me to re-evaluate my own journey. Working with my strengths and linking them with the job hunting process was the most useful for me.”

— Lisa, Spain, going from marketing-as-usual to sustainability marketing expert

“The visual experience in the first session was very powerful. It really showed me how the picture I created revealed hope. I am so grateful for this group. Each and everyone has helped me to get to this point!”

— Beth built a framework for her community work to instil hope and positive action

“I’ve attended many classes and workshops, and Claudia’s leadership and the space she creates is second to none. Thank you, Claudia, for helping me move my game piece a little further down the board. I loved this experience so much, and always told my friends all about it, and am excited to stay connected with everyone.”

— Elissa, Colorado, USA, exploring her role as an educator in climate

“Thanks Claudia for the wonderful sessions and the enriching exercises that opened up our minds and hearts to a world of possibilities. Awesome tools to help you stay focussed on your goals. The journey is just as important as the goal itself and finding your tribe definitely makes the journey a positive experience. Thanks to my peers for bringing such real emotions, vulnerabilities and experiences. I learned so much from you all.”

— Nandini, India and Netherlands, transitioning into sustainability

“Interacting with like-minded people from different backgrounds has opened up new paths to exploring the climate space. The tools and websites you have shared are excellent and will save everyone a lot of time as it’s easy to get lost in a sea of information online. The motivation of sharing a common goal and exploring that as a group has been very valuable.”

— Marc, Ireland going from Tech Sales Leader to Climate Sales Leader

“You know something was a great experience if it makes you smile when you think about it, right? Claudia, thank you so much for leading us on this journey with warmth and compassion, and what a bonus to have shared this experience with this amazing group of people - thanks to you all for sharing your vulnerabilities, fresh perspectives and supporting each other. I can't wait to see what the future holds for you all!”

— Lorna, UK, moving from Marketing Expert to Climate Communication Leadership

“What a great group and great leadership, thank you Claudia!!”

— Zach, Texas, USA, Sustainability Expert aligning his impact career to his strengths and values
